Production Stills

Before shooting we would allocate half an hour to setting up all the equipment and making sure all the lighting was positioned to make the image as good as it could be. Due to the fact most of our shots will be composed in the same way it is important that they all look as good as possible.

The shots of all the artwork were a bit more complicated as each one varied in size and detail, this made it difficult to maintain a single standard of shots or maintain and identical lighting technique, this was due to the paper and how it would bounce of the white often giving the camera flair. Hannah decided to use a focus pulling technique to draw the eye to particular parts of the drawing and dim some of the lighting to allow for a lot of the work to be displayed within the frame but only some of it being in focus.
